ABOUT US

Hi I am Dr Jennifer Gonnet from Gonnet Chiropractic, which is located in the Mango Hill Market Place on the corner of Anzac Avenue and Halpine Drive at Mango Hill.

I grew up in the Yukon in Northern Canada and as a kid and teen played a wide variety of sports (including cross country skiing and competitive swimming) which exposed me to chiropractic care at a young age. After experiencing the benefits of improved recovery, injury prevention and enhanced performance, I realised that a career in chiropractic with a sports focus was for me.

I explored various options for my University Education and decided to apply to Murdoch University in Western Australia to gain my Chiropractic Degree. I relocated from Canada to Perth which, once I adjusted to the warm Aussie weather, I knew I couldn’t go back to the freezing cold.

When I completed my studies I decided to accept a position as a chiropractor in Queensland, which offered great weather and was way more affordable than Sydney and more accessible than Perth. After several years of practising I took the leap and opened Gonnet Chiropractic in 2014. Our aim was to provide ethical, affordable and individualised treatment options to enable us to help as many people in the community as possible, including all our sporting enthusiasts.

We wanted to offer flexible booking options to allow us to provide same day appointments for new and existing patients alike, as well as emergency appointments when required. On-site x-ray facilities allows us immediate access to imaging, which has proved invaluable when treating patients from car accidents, bad tackles and everyday tumbles and falls.

We also offer full body manual chiropractic adjustments, low force techniques, dry needling and sports taping for a complete range of treatment options, depending on your requirements. Our location in the Market Place offers plenty of parking both undercover and outside, with elevator access when the stairs might be too much.
